学生ゼミとは？・What Is The Student Seminar？
【目的・Purpose】
世界遺産学学位プログラムには、建築学・地理学・保存科学・考古学等・造園学・芸術学をはじめとする、遺産保護に関わる多種多様な学術的なバックグラウンドをもつ学生が集まっています。また、様々な国や地域からの留学生も多く、研究テーマも有形と無形、文化と自然といった多種多様な広がりを持っています。学生ゼミの目的は、所属ゼミや学年を超えて、学生自身が関心のあるテーマを探求し、学生同士で「遺産(ヘリテージ)」についての学びを深めることです。異なる視点を持つ学生たちが、同じ「遺産(ヘリテージ)」というフィールドにおいて共に活動し議論し合える場所となっています。
The World Heritage degree program has students from all over the world, who come from a wide variety of academic backgrounds, including architecture, geography, conservation science, archaeology, anthropology, aesthetics and art,and more. Students' research themes are wide-ranging, spanning across tangible and intangible culture, as well as nature. The aim of the student seminar is for students to explore themes of their own interest and to deepen their learning about heritage, regardless of the seminar and year group they belong to in the program. It is a space for students with different perspectives to work and discuss heritage together.
【内容・Contents】
学生ゼミでは以下の活動を2週に1回の頻度で開催しています。参加は自由です。
The student seminar does the following activities on a once per two week basis. Participation is entirely voluntary.

研究発表会・
Research Presentations
学生が自身の研究テーマについての発表する。
Giving students a chance to practice presenting their own research topic.
エクスカーション・
Thematic Field Trips
特定の場所を訪れ、歴史、文化、自然などを学び、体験し理解を深める。
Field trips to experience and deepen our learning about history, culture, nature, etc.
輪読会・
Heritage Literature Reading Circles
対象の文献を読み、ディスカッション等を行う。
Reading and discussing heritage-related literature.

展覧会鑑賞・
Museum Exhibit Viewing
学生の興味のある展覧会を鑑賞し話し合う。
Visiting and discussing museum exhibits of interest to the seminar students.
